Event gives kids full backpacks, school clothes

The Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin will partner with Clothes to Kids for its third annual Back to School Fair. At the event, which will be July 18 at the Clothes to Kids Store in Clearwater, 100 low-income students will receive five days' worth of clothing from Clothes to Kids and a backpack filled with school supplies for the upcoming school year from the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin. The league is seeking donations of $15. Each $15 will provide one student with a backpack and school supplies necessary to start the 2009-10 school year. Checks can be made out to the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin and mailed to JLCD, 1265 Bayshore Blvd., Dunedin, FL 34698, attn: Back to School Fair.
